The Humboldt County Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit organization made up of of
business owners, professional people and area residents who have formed a volunteer
partnership to support each other and this community. More than 200 Chamber members work
together to not only maintain, but to improve the economic and social climate of Humboldt
County.
Since 1920, the Humboldt County Chamber of Commerce has worked to make this area a better
place to raise a family, hold a job and build a business.
The Board of Directors of the Chamber is elected from the general membership.
Board members coordinate activities of the Chamber and appoint special committees as
needed. The Board of Directors makes key policy decisions and outlines the programs, while
two paid staff members assist in implementing these policies and programs.
The Board of Directors meet the first Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. All general
members of the Chamber as well as members of the public are invited to attend.
